Thanks for checking out American Axes! Whether you’re a pro-beard, flannel-wearing axe-throwing regular or a first timer, our goal is the same – for you and your crew to have an unforgettable time.
If you’ve never thrown before, our instructors will walk you through the how-to’s on throwing an axe safely, and in a matter of minutes you will experience the primal thrill of hitting the target. For advanced throwers, we have league approved axes and throwing lanes where you can sharpen your skills. We also offer league nights to compete against other axe aficionados.
Axe throwing is a sport, and we love getting competitive. We provide easy instruction for a variety of different games you can play with your crew that require different skills. There is a game for everyone.
We built American Axes to be a place where we’d want to hang out. We celebrate the things about our country that we love and you will feel our appreciation of the National Parks, sports and competition. If you’re looking to express your inner lumberjack and have a great time, come check out American Axes.
We offer lanes to walk-in guests on a first-come, first-serve basis based on availability. We strongly recommend reserving a lane before arriving.
Axe throwing is a fantastic way to get competitive with friend groups, bachelor or bachelorette parties and company team builders. We also have catering partners to match your needs. Please call us to book.
Students who present a valid College ID on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday receive a $10 discount.
We do not sell alcohol, but are conveniently located in the same complex as Schoolhouse Brewing. With no core beers and over 20 rotating taps, we welcome you to visit Schoolhouse and bring a 32oz crowler or 64oz growler with you. Mention that you are going to American Axes for $1 off your order.
Reserve Your Lane
Each lane holds up to 6 people and can be reserved by the hour. We accept walk-in guests on a first-come, first-served basis pending availability. We strongly recommend reserving a lane before arriving.
