American Axes will host a WATL Local Tournament at our Edgewater, Colorado location the weekend of July 18 – July 20, 2025.
Our venue will host tournament matches and we have an assortment of additional events that we would love to host throwers for practice, marathons, cash tournaments and a great time! Come check out our venue, located in one of the hottest hubs in Denver, Colorado. Minutes from downtown and in the beautiful setting of Sloan’s Lake. The market we call home boasts the #1 Food Hall in Denver for the last 2 years as well as a brewery and full-service bar.
We have partnered with The Courtyard Denver Stadium for a discounted rate of $139/night when traveling for this event – last day to book is June 18 to receive the special rate. Book your group rate for American Axes.
PRACTICE LANES:
Throwers who participate in at least 2 events, their practice lanes will be allowed 2 hours before for free Friday- Sunday. This would be practice on shared lanes, we will guarantee a minimum of 4 targets available for practice hours and possibly more available depending on customer flow. Our Edgewater venue has 6 targets in total. Participating in the after party, marathons or tournaments comes at an additional cost.
Thursday, 7/17:
4pm-10pm – Practice Lanes available
Friday, 7/18:
10am – Registration opens at 10am / Practice Lanes available
3pm – $100 – Hatchet Marathon – 12 thrower cap for marathon. Expectation that marathon will conclude before 10pm. Using it as a warmup to practice for Saturday.
Saturday, 7/19:
9am – Registration opens at 9am / Practice Lanes available
10am – $75 – Hatchet Tournament begins. 24 thrower cap for tournament will conclude by 3pm.
3pm – $100 per team – Duals Marathon begins. Assumption is that there will be 8-10 teams that participate. Expectation that marathon will conclude before 10pm. Using it as a warmup to practice for Sunday.
Sunday, 7/20:
9am – Registration opens at 9am / Practice Lanes available
10am – $50 – Big Axe Tournament. 12 thrower cap in tournament. Tournament will conclude around 12pm.
12:30pm – $100 per team – Duals Tournament. Assumption is 8-10 teams. Tournament will conclude around 3pm.
3pm – $100 per team –15ft Duals Cash Tournament. This is just for fun, but something we have always wanted to do.
